The Prime Minister has decided to establish the Thanh Thuy Border Economic Zone in Ha Giang province. The zone covers an area of over 28,700 hectares in Thanh Thuy, Phuong Tien, Thanh Duc, Xin Chai, Lao Chai and Phong Quang communes (Vi Xuyen district) and Phuong Do commune (Ha Giang town).
